Downtown Tulsa Photo Set

I recently had the opportunity to photograph my home city of Tulsa for a law firm website I am designing. The evening hours of Oklahoma summers presented some great skys, and in tandem with the urban skyline made for some vivid images. As a fan of architecture I captured some of my favorite buildings around the city. Projects like this remind me how much I love this city and the beautiful landscape that surrounds us.

These photographs were taken for Rhodes Hieronymus, a local law firm.

Tulsa Santa Photos

Seasons Greetings!  This season I will be at Philbrook Museum of art as their official Santa photographer. They are hosting a ton of great events this holiday season including a fantastic Santa Claus (real beard and everything!). Bring your kids down to meet Santa and share their Christmas list. No age limit!

Festival of Trees, a holiday art show, is going on at the museum as well as other seasonal events. Philbrook is beautifully decorated including the gardens, which are illuminated with Christmas lights galore. It’s a great time to visit the museum for the whole family. Come on out and see me, schedule below. Also see my other photography services.

Midnight Madness Photos

I was asked to photograph this Crossfit event held at Crossfit Jenks, one of the most legit Crossfit gyms in Tulsa. The event consisted of 3 different workouts and over 50 competitors. It was very impressive to see these athletes push themselves to the max. As photographer I was up in everyone’s business with my camera. Pretty fun and I think I got some pretty decent shots given the low light and lack of external flash.

Auto Photography

I’ve had the opportunity to photograph a number of cars recently so have been playing around with my approach. My thinking is that if I can incorporate well known local backdrops from around Tulsa people will be more familiar and interested in the vehicle depicted. Still experimenting but let me know what you think!

Backwoods Bash

The backwoods Bash is a yearly camping festival at Keystone Lake, outside Tulsa. It was my first year to go and I had a great time. I don’t do too well in the heat but thankfully the water cooled me down. There was tons of music, the tickets were cheap and you get to bring your own beverages – three big wins. I had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed Sam and the Stylees11 Fingered Chalie and the Red Dirt Rangers. My favorite of the night was the Moai Broadcast. They closed it down with a very trancy, jazzy set including covers of Floyd and Phish, two of my favorites.
